would you consider seeing a life coach? if so, what would you expect from one?

im looking into it as a possible future career idea but dont know very much about what they actually do as yet.

do normal every-day people use them? what would you expect to get out of life coaching?

what are the main areas of one's life do people seek help with mainly?

has anyone here been to one and did you find it useful?

personall i wouldnt consider it, not sure why but i kind of think it sounds like a very vague career and unless they had counselling experience and were really in fact therefor a counsellor i cant see the point, maybe im wrong but could anybody just do it or is there some kind of useful qualification to do for it?!?!?
