Shaky legs on fast day?

Hi everyone. On my 3rd FD today & feel it's going well, I'm not finding the hunger particularly bad & feel this could be a really sustainable WOE for me. However ive been feeling fine up until about 3/4pm when I get really shaky legs and generally feel a bit weak. I'm drinking heaps of fluid and have tried a teaspoon of marmite in case it's lack of salt but doesn't seem to help. Any tips ? Or is it just my body getting used to it. I have quite an active 3 year old to look after so sitting down isn't always an option Grin

Can you organise your food intake so that you have a burst of calories at that time of day? An apple or some berries or a small banana? Or if you like it, make some Bircher muesli at the beginning of the day. have half for breakfast and save half for 4pm.
I use:
35g sugar free nutty muesli (Mornflake brand)
60ml fruit juice (OJ or apple and berry)
2 scoops of frozen berries (about 120g)
1 tablespoon of low fat natural Skyr (Icelandic yoghurt)
Stir them all together and then chill in the fridge. The whole lot is about 300 cals and it makes a big bowlful, so half when you wake up and half when you feel weak would be good. If you have a big raw salad for lunch that still leaves scope for soup or white fish and steamed veg at dinner time.

That sounds like your blood sugar is dropping - what do you tend to have for lunch?

When it happens you need something that will release its sugar fairly slowly

e.g some plain yoghurt with berries and a sprinkle of oats
an apple with a few nuts or a Babybel Light
