overeating on non fast days

Has anybody got any tips on how to avoid this?
I'm finding fast days quite straightforward but I'm dreadful the rest of the week. Wondered if anyone else had found a good way to motivate and overcome this problem?

What are you eating?

My general way of managing diets etc is to meal plan and only buy what I need. If I've only got 1 cake I can only eat 1 cake sort of thing.

It means that if I want crap I have to make the conscious decision to go and buy crap.

Marking place as I have a similar issue. I think the recommendation is to use mfp to count calories for a few weeks, to avoid snacking. Hard though!
