I have done really well on the 5.2 lost over a stone since April and was pretty much at goat just before xmas. Anyway I am too scared to stand on the scales and want to attempt a fast day today but lordy it is tough after all the pointless greed of xmas. Any wise words to strengthen my resolve?

Step on those scales, make a note and start as you mean to go on.

We bought new scales yesterday - it added 5lb to both of our weights - our old ones really were old. Depressing but it is better to get it out of the way and make the plan of action than sit nibbling chocolate hoping it will go away.

Go do it right now.

What's your plan Doreen? I will fast today otherwise I will be a stone up in no time. Time to reset the appetite.

I am fitbitting so eating less cal than I use up every day, and I have two days a week teaching excluded teenagers in a community garden setting so those are my [unplanned but coincidental] 2 fasting days with minimal time or energy to eat.

Glad you did the weigh in - see it was ok!

Yes fasting is deffo easier when working. I am hopefully starting a new contract next week so will be more focused and further away from temptation. Thanks for kick up arse onto the scales!
