Time-scale?

Naturally it's different for everyone, but I just wondered how long people need to fast before they begin to see sustainable weightloss? I'm currently going to trial this WOE, and am wondering whether a month is enough to give it a fair go?

Hello.
Not sure what you mean by sustainable weight loss. A month should be enough time to see some weight loss, yes. As you say, it's different for everyone but 1lb per week is the 'usual' loss. It depends on your start weight, how much you have to lose, how active you are etc. Some people see a little woosh at the start and then slow down. Some don't lose anything on the scales but start changing shape. There are plateau times and sometimes life just happens...but ultimately by fasting twice a week you're creating enough of a calorie deficit to lose weight, plus the other benefits that fasting can bring.
Have you read the book or the official website? There's also a good introductory post at the beginning of the main thread. That should answer any questions you may have.
