If I do 16:8 everyday will I lose weight?

Or will I have to calorie count and fast as well?

You will still need to calorie count to ensure that you don't eat more calories than you burn. The fasting ensures that you have a significant calorie deficit, which is the bit that allows you to lose weight.

You will still get health benefits from doing 16:8 though.

Thanks megrim. I've been dipping my toe into the 5:2 diet and just wondered if I could do a bit of both!
