Hola Breadandwine...have just been reading your blog. Really interesting - thank you.

Great, thanks Bread I will indeed read yours!

I'll look at yours if you look at mine! smile

This is from the perspective of someone who has been IFing for 17 months (today!) and has lost 10kg. The link has many links to other relevant blogs, plus much research and lots of 5:2 recipes.

BTW, the Horizon programme is easy to find. I have a link to it in my blog, and it is linked to in the OP on the main 5:2 thread on this forum (currently thread nr 24.)

This should be the first port of call of anyone interested in Intermittent Fasting.

Thanks, Melanie, good advice. It does sound confusing when I say that 'fast days mustn't be consecutive', as though something dreadful will happen if they were!!

Very nice looking blog! My only comment would be on the consecutive days thing - that recommendation is only to make it easier, but many people do occasionally do a back-to-back fast, and it's not against the rules, as such.

I've followed to read later - been thinking of doing the 5:2 myself!

mintymellons Thu 25-Jul-13 17:12:22

Oops, thanks will try again!

HeySoulSister Thu 25-Jul-13 17:07:34

Yes I would, it's not a clicky link tho

I presume it's ok to link to a blog post (?)

I'm planning to start adding recipes as we go along too
