I am thinking about doing the 5.2 and 16/8, am I still going to get health benefits and lose weight? I am not sure if I can do the 5.2 alone. Thank you.

I'm doing the 16/8
I started about 10days ago

I eat from 10 am to 6pm.

The only time I find hard on some days Is from 8 am , when I was used to eating breakfast.

This so far has been much easier than I thought it would be.

I have lost about 3lbs so far.

I'm another one combining 6:1 or 5:2 with 16:8. Got to goal weight doing that. Week days only (not weekends).

What is 16/8 please? I am doing 5:2 but feel like I need a little extra help!

Thanks ladies, I think I am going to mix and match with the 6.1, 5.2, and 16/8, as I think the 5.2 is going to be hard for me.

Woss it's fasting 16 hours (including sleep) and eating within an 8 hour window eg 12-8pm or 8am-4pm. You can't be a glutton during those 8 hours but neither (generally) do you need to count calories because people tend to find it difficut to overeat in 8 hours.

Thanks bsssh, that sounds really good for me. Think I will do it on my non fast weekdays. Then trough wine and crisps on Saturdays Grin
