One day period?

My periods are pretty useless as it is. I usually have a day of cramps and medium/light flow and dark red blood. Couple of days of light brown bleeding then couple of days of brown spotting. I’ve had all my hormone tests done, they were fine. I’ve had 2 2D US (one internal, one external) and a 3D internal US. All show I’m ovulating, have good amount of follicles, good lining etc. Even so, my periods aren’t amazing but they do last at least 4 days, even if they’re mostly light and brown.

My period started sunday. A day early (based on my normal 28 day cycle although they’ve been a bit mad lately) but that’s happened before. It started in the afternoon rather than the morning like it normally would. I got cramps and my flow was medium and dark red as expected. A little bit more bleeding than normal but not enough to be classed as heavy. I use a mooncup so can kind of gauge the blood loss lol.

Put my mooncup back in yesterday morning and left it in until 3 that afternoon. I expected there to be a fair amount in there. There was the tiniest of drops of brown watery blood. Literally a drop. I left the mooncup out. I’ve had nothing since. No bleeding, no blood or even brown when I wipe after a wee. It’s like it’s just completely gone. I’ve never had this before and now I’m worried that something is wrong. What could have caused it to last just one day then vanish? I’m no more stressed than usual, no real change to my diet or supplements. I’m not pregnant, I was far too crampy yesterday (plus I had a couple of tiny clots) so that’s ruled out completely. Any other ideas?

This is the family planning section but you haven’t mentioned which contraception you are using ? Contraception could do this and it’s generally nothing to worry about. Could be the reason you have very light periods too. Hope this helps
