Cerazette - bye bye libido

I've been taking cerazette for 9 months now.

On the plus, I haven't had a period for months and I don't suffer from the god awful PMS (occasionally suicidal) that I used to experience. However, the truly awful PMS came with really bad sleep deprivation. My daughters are 2 & nearly 4 and sleep really well now.

I'm also down to 1 breastfeed a day with my DD2 and want to be done in the next few weeks. I've heard that hormones can go whacky when you wean and I may feel a bit blue. A huge worry as I had terrible PND and anxiety after she was born. I've heard cerazette can make people feel really low? And that bf'ing sort of counteracts the low feelings?

On the negative side of taking this pill, I have absolutely no interest in sex. None. And this is getting me down tbh.

I can't take the combined pill due to migraines with aura.

I need to order my next 6 months' tomorrow but am debating stopping them. I feel like I want to want sex again, and I'm really conflicted about not having periods. Brilliant on one hand but a bit scary and unnatural on the other?

I hate the whole contraceptive thing. I think maybe we should just go back to condoms for a while and see if I can manage my PMS?

I don't really know what I'm asking. Maybe just typing it out is cathartic! DH thinks I should stop for a few months to see how I get on. I'm really conflicted.
