No more micronor :( POP or combined pill - anyone switched!?

So, Micronor is being discontinued- my gp and Boots have told me this.
GP wants me to go onto noriday, which last time I tried it was horrendous, my GP is insisting it's identical, the pharmacist at Boots tells me the binder agent is different.

So, having not got on with cerrazette or femulen I feel like I'm running out of pill options - has anyone swapped from the pop to combined - will it be horrendous!?

I have just found out Micronor has been discontinued. I am due to go to GP on Thursday for my next 6 months supply. I am worried what the GP will give me. I tried loads of types of pill before this one being ok. I can't go onto any of them as they give me side effects like depression or constant bleeding.
I used to have combined for years with no problem but was told I had to have pop after I turned 40 even though I don't smoke.

Your post is 3 months old, so what are you taking now and how is it going?

Janssen-Cillag have said they discontinued it due to it not being profitable and not because of unsafe.

I went from micronor to regivdeon and it was great for me. No side effects on regivden and my periods are like clockwork and my skin is looking great. Everyone's different when it comes to which pill works best for them though. Micronor was horrific for me and gave me insane periods and weight gain.

They offered me noriday as the direct alternative; in the past I've not done well in that so I start on regivdeon on Friday as I've finished the 3 months worth I sourced from a pharmacist miles out of town. I'm not looking forward to it but my GP has decided I should only have a 5 day break in stead of 7 which might be more suitable for me... we'll see!
