Hi,
We have been having problems conceiving and we are seeing a specialist. It only occured to me today could it be to do with when I had my drink spiked when I was younger? I have heard some of the drugs they use can cause infertility. Is this true? If so how would it manifest? I went to the hospital when I was spiked but there was such a long queue in a and e the nurse said I would do better to go home and rest than get tested by which time the wait was so long the drug could be out of my system. So I never found out what it was. I lost all consciousness though and when I was found and brought around none of my muscles would work alot of sickness then after. Felt rough for days.

Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

This is an urban legend. There are no drugs which you can take orally (or injections in fact) which can cause life lomg infertility.

Good luck with the specialist.

I am no expert but i am not sure 1 incident of taking a drug could cause infertility.

With unexplained fertility issues you have a need to find answers and thats understandable OP.

I would wsit until you have seen the slecialist and if you are concerned you can mention it to them.
Are you sure it is you with the fertility issue and not your partner?
