Break week Early

I currently take Rigevidon as my contraception. It's a 21/7 day pill but I take 63 tablets and then have a 7 day break.

On Monday I realised my break week would clash with my new job and sometimes the cramps make me unfocused so I took my break week about 2 weeks early (I'd taken 47 pills).

I saw my nurse today and she flipped out when I mentioned that I'd taken my break week early. She said I was unprotected and would end up pregnant if I didn't take plan B. She then proceeded to take my prescribed contraceptive pills which I'd got from a pharmacy off me and said I couldn't have them back til I could prove I wasn't pregnant.

Question is. I've read that once you've taken 21 active pills you're fully protected. Even in my pamphlet it states 'If you want to delay your period, you should continue the next pack of Rigevidon, after taking the last pill in the current pack, without a pill-free interval. You can take as many pills from this next pack as you want'

I took plan B today and my nurse wants to see me on Friday to see if I've started bleeding. If i haven't she's sending me to a clinic on Saturday to have a test done. I know plan b can delay periods?!

What is plan B?

Demented, I've looked Plan B up because I also didn't know - it's the equivalent of Levonelle (emergency contraceptive).
