I've been on Cerelle for a few months now and my periods seem to be getting more frequent! I'm now in my 3rd period since the start of December! It's a total pita, not least because I never know when to expect it so am sometimes unprepared.
Is cereals similar to cerazette? Thy say wait 3 months to settle but I struggle to wear pads etc continuously and find small amounts of bleeding affects my ability to go swimming and it is so annoying! Can you ask your GP? Have you been able to try other pills?
I think it is the same yes. I've been on it since September and the periods are getting more frequent. I'm seeing my GP next week. I've tried other pills previously, before having my children, and most gave me horrendous PMS.
Cerelle is awful. It gave me such excruciating pains I was curled up in a ball on the floor unable to move or talk. Doctors seem to be moving more and more people onto it, I think it's cheaper. Go back and change if you can.
I'm currently pregnant but am dreading what to do after DC arrives since I don't seem to have any luck with hormonal contraceptives. Diabetes was the only one that ever suited me and that's. It used as a contraceptive only anymore.
Yes it was constant breakthrough bleeding for me and periods that lasted 2 weeks, but it was the extreme PMS/low moods which finally did for it. I got moved onto Noriday and haven't had a period yet and feel so much more cheerful - although I've heard others have bad experiences on that too. My GP says it's very much just trial and error.
