Emergency contraception help please?

I finished my last period on Thursday 28th July and had unprotected sex in the early hours of 31st July. I took EllaOne at approx 9am on 1st August so approx 32 hours later. I've never taken emergency contraception before so didn't really know what to expect. I've been very emotional and had sore breasts and stomach cramps so figured I was due to come on but still haven't. I tested twice last week as it's been over three weeks and both said not pregnant, just wondering what to expect now? If I was pregnant would it be showing up by now, or is the morning after pill likely to make my period late? Sorry if this is the wrong place I just need some advice and can't afford to keep spending £9 a pack on two pregnancy tests! Thanks.

Late periods are common with Ella one (up to 3 weeks late!) as are your hormonal side effects. Try to relax and put your purse away! You're right, 3 weeks is normally plenty ling enough for a valid pregnancy test. Xxx
