Mirena weirdness

Hi ladies, I had the Mirena fitted in November 2015 and haven't had any real issues with it. But the passed month twice now I have had this horrible cramp/stabbing pain in the left side of my pelvic area, which radiates into my back and down my left leg. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Or had anything similar? I haven't checked that the strings are still there yet but I'm just worried it's moved or something worse. TIA x

The pain in your back and down your leg sounds like sciatica to me.

It might not be related to the Mirena at all.

I'd get it checked out if I were you though. Hope you feel better soon.
