Copper coil and libido /other side effects

Have had copper coil recently as I felt it would be the option with least side effects but since having it my usually high sex drive seems to have vanished!! Is this normal? And any other side effects people have experienced? I have developed slight itchy rashes in places too.....slightly concerned there is more copper given off than I realised
