Getting the coil removed soon due to problems. Biggest being migraines. So what could I have?
Don't want implant
The progesterone pill gives me migraines
The injection is same hormones above so risky
Been advised not to have the other pill as it is a trigger for migraines
Also been advised not to have the copper coil as it can cause 6weeks heavy bleeding and I have severe iron deficient anaemia.

So what else is there?!

I'm having the same issues at the momment.
I tried the mirena coil it was awful moods migrane visual disturbance etc. I have been told that if you are a migrane with aura sufferer you can only be offered progesterone only as there is a risk of stroke on combo contraceptives.

In trying a different type of progesterone only pill his week to see how I get on. the nurse said to just come back if I don't like it they can try different brands to see if I find one that's suits.

Barrier methods, either diaphragm or condom. Plus awareness of (if not total reliance on) NFP.

Or you could try the nuavaring. Yes it's hormonal. But different hormones, low dose and very easy to jettison if you don't get on with it.
