Hi, anyone else had the Essure procedure? I had it done in 2012, I then started to get all sorts of health issues but didn't relate it to the device until earlier this year. I have since had to have a hysterectomy ( everything bar ovaries), I am now 3 weeks post op and a lot of my symptoms have disappeared ( joint pain, skin problems, hair loss to name a few). My consultant said that my case was unique as she hasn't seen anyone else have problems, I know this to be untrue as I know of 2 other ladies that have had hystos due to issues with essure at the same hospital ( royal surrey guildford).

Omg I've just been referred to that hospital for investigations if their maternity unit is anything to go by I'm in for a rough ride and when my 3 year old stopped breathing in theatre during a routine tonsils etc they dudnt even tell me until he'd been under general for 4 hours while they tried to get him to breath on his own! I have heard of essure and the problems it causes the Dr's are blind to them it needs to be yellow if not red carded I'd take it higher and complain get the other 2 ladies to complain also I hope you don't mind me asking but how old are you? As I'm struggling to get anywhere with sorting out my lady bits due to being 'too young'
