How long for period to return after implant?

Had my contraceptive implant out last week and just wondering when my period is going to arrive. I realise it will be different for everyone but wondering what the average is?

I had it in for just over a year, had constant very light slotting for the first six months and nothing at all for the last six. Have loved being period (esp period pain) free but starting to think about TTC again and am totally paranoid mildly worried about making sure my cycle returns to normal first.

Could you discuss this with your GP?
As you say - everyone is different but they must have an average.
My friend had the injection a few times and she stopped having it about a year ago and has still not had a period.
I still have my 1st implant in so don't know.
Maybe google it and see what others have to say on the matter.
I hope it all gets back to normal quickly for you.

I had 4 implants before TTC so 12 years of no periods. For me it was about 6 weeks for some spotting and about 9 weeks for a proper period straight into a regular cycle.
