Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience of this. With my 2nd child, I lost a lot of blood after labour resulting in some pretty scary moments and a transfusion (that's putting it mildly). After everything was sorted, the consultant said that if I wanted another baby, I had to tell the labour team when I go into labour and they can have an injection or something (bit hazy on the details!) ready to prevent any further blood loss. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience of this - either had the injection, or anything else. We're thinking about a 3rd, and will obviously talk to GP before making any scary plans, but just wanted to canvass opinions. Thanks!
