(2 Posts)Hi -- I've been researching and have discovered Cecil Rhodes had two sisters according to family trees I have looked at:
Could anyone check for me?
EDITH CAROLINE RHODES [Born 1849?]
LOUISA SOPHIA M RHODES [born 1847?]
ALICE RHODES [? No sister recorded under that name, but 'Miss Rhodes' is referred to in the articles 1899 as Alice. Possibly Evangeline Anders? ½ sister whom he kept out of his will]

Does anyone know who 'Alice' the man-hating, most interesting woman in Africa is?
Hi, I've had a look at the all of the census returns for the family for you and non of them list an Alice Rhodes or Evangeline Anders. Have found both Edith and Louisa but no Alice sorry. Maybe she was an illegitimate half sibling?
