How do I chose a Rugby club?

DD (14yo) PE teacher has told me DD has a talent for Rugby and has advised she joins a club.

DH and I aren't into the sport at all, but there are three good (as far as I know they're all good) teams locally.

Do I just email them all and go with the one that responds first? Is it really bad to go to all three to see which one she prefers?

DH and I are prepared to put in whatever it takes for DD to train/play (what is that likely to be?)and DD is VERY keen.

Just go along and see what welcome you get.
Potentially cost and distance may be a factor, but generally women's rugby is very welcoming and keen to encourage girls into the sport, so I would anticipate they will all be welcoming.
Then make a decision on what the ground is like, how far the travel is, what day training is, how much subs are, etc, etc when you have the full knowledge. Smile

Some of the girls might have been playing together for some time; it might be worth reminding your daughter of this before her first training session. I have never been to an unfriendly rugby club. They are always very welcoming.

Go to all of them, go to some training (they may want to insure you) and get a feel for them. No point finding you can’t stand the coach or that the position your daughter likes best is taken by their all singing all dancing County player.

Most clubs are super friendly though and will just be delighted to have you on board 👍
