Has anyone any experience of these? DD13 is interested in doing one in
Spain (might even try this October half term) - part child care because I work FT, partly get her interested in languages (she loves speaking but finds the classroom bit a bind - family habit with all languages). I guess I was thinking of somewhere with fairly low pressure language and some fun activities round it so Mumsnet wisdom would be very much appreciated

My DD did a 3 weeks in Spain after GCSEs. It really improved her Spanish but I wasn't overjoyed by their general safeguarding or their level of communication when she became ill. We might just have been unlucky, but I wouldn't do it again without us being in the same country. PM me if you want more info.
