We loved this two years ago and it made up for how much we missed Young Musician. Here's the schedule. They're amazing, worth watching:
Friday 24 March, BBC Four - Street Dance Category Final
Friday 31 March, BBC Four - Ballet Category Final
Friday 7 April, BBC Four - South Asian Category Final
Friday 14 April, BBC Four - Contemporary Category Final
Saturday 22 April, BBC Two - GRAND FINAL (live)

Thanks for posting. I've never watched before. Is it only the finals televised of each category?

Yes, finals for each category then the final for the overall winner.

Can't wait to watch, it was so good last time. Two young people from my ds school are in the ballet final so they're all v excited to watch.

Watched the street dance final. Too much talking and not enough dancing. But the dances are in full on the website...
The youth were amazing. Looking forward to tonight.

Have watched everything except final. Hope to catch it Friday night. My first thought is the dancers look overall more relaxed and happy people than the musicians in BBC Young Musician... Interesting. Maybe it's the physicality of dancing. I'm not saying music is not physical, but of course there's a difference in the pure aerobic sense. They're both hard work!
