Lamda exams

My dds are due to take their first Lamda exams next weekend (18/19 July) but we STILL haven't heard from Lamda re a time!

Is this usual?
i don't have any contact info for them as i stupidly didn't photocopy the application form.

bit weird isn't it? any experience?

I don't have any relevant experience, but surely you can get contact details via the web, Google if necessary.

We are always given the information via DDs drama teacher. Can they advise you

i have emailed them and they replied. should have done that in the first place! just wondered if it was usual, her drama teacher said yes !

There is hell up with LAMDA at the moment.

Usually you are supposed to get your day & time 14 days beforehand but there admin has gone to put this last session several drama teachers I know are still waiting & some have had private sessions cancelled

Someone senior in the exams dept died & I know allowances need to be made but it's chaos.

Be prepared for a wait for results. It's supposed to be 6 weeks but is more like 8-9 at the moment.

thanks! good to know this isn't usual - with ballet & music exams you normally know at least a month in advance. thought my application must be lost in the post.

to be fair to them they did respond on email within a few hours.
