Hi ! My older DD is playing tennis for a year!
She is quite talented ( as I was told) and she really LOVES it,coach keeps asking me to send her for competitions but me being smug, not a good thing, I am too shy to admit I don't have a clue how things work! Please don't judge me, it's just how I am!!!!!
If anyone can advice me how do I enrole her in some competitions and any other advice!
She is member of BLTA !
She trains 2 times a week a group lesson and one extra private with another 5 kids! Thank you!

Hi, my daughter has also been playing tennis for a year and has had a fantastic summer playing competitions across the region, but it did take me a while (and the advice of more experienced parents) to get to grips with the whole thing!

To find the competition listing page you need to log in to the lta website, hover over "MEMBERS access your area" and click "player". When your DD's tennis page comes up, click onto the competion link along the tool bar and there should be a link then to click to enter competitions. It will automatically list all competitions within a 100 mile radius and also suitable for her age/rating, but you can adjust this to the right of the screen.

HTH a bit, I'm more than happy to offer any advice (if I know the answer!) :D

Where do you live, if you look at in my area section of website you will find local contacts, its worth giving your local office a call as they help coordinate the local competition programme, so usually helpful in talking you through how to get started.
