Learning to draw manga

My 9 year old has expressed an interest in drawing manga, I'd like to encourage this (anything to get him off the computer!). Does anyone know of any good websites/books that'll help him learn? He is a complete beginner, but loves pokemon, and would like to start drawing the cute animals.

Theres lots of How to Draw Pokemon books on Amazon

and DD has Mega Manga which covers everything.

Also the Letraset Promarker sets are really good for drawing with, but worth looking around as you can often get them on special offer.
