what has happened to all the good women badminton players

what happens to women badminton players after they reach 40 plus. They seem to disappear of the face of the earth. Come on ,come back and play...the leagues need you and your abilities. clubs will all fold if we cant increase the amount of lady players of all ages and that would be really sad, as its a brilliant sport
