Get in shape at home - not weight loss

Now my eldest has started school I've got more time at home for myself (still have a 2yo though!). I'd really like to be fitter/more toned but literally no idea where to begin. I'm not overweight at all, in fact I'm bordering on underweight so I'm keen to get this right as the last thing I need is a fat burning programme where I lose weight I can't actually afford to lose. Can anyone help?

how about some yoga youtube videos, there's a woman "yoga with adriene" everyone raves about...

So long as you eat enough to fuel your daily activities you won't lose weight.

For stuff to do at home I would recommend bodyweight exercises - google things like Animal Flow and calisthenics, and have a look at the GMB Fitness site which has lots of video tutorials.

I’ve just purchased Callanetics Countdown from Amazon. It seemed to have good reviews so 🤞🤞

I haven't heard of pretty much any of these so this is a really good starting point thank you.
I know I should be eating enough to maintain weight but I struggle to maintain it now without adding exercise to the mix so I'm just wary I guess.

Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is just under half an hour and you just need some hand weights. I alternate with her yoga meltdown workout.

Does the 'shred' imply weight loss though?

I loved the shred dvd, I ended up with muscles in places I didn’t know I had, I didn’t particularly lose weight with it (was doing weekly weigh-ins at the time) but took up less room...
can’t do it now due to plantar fasciitis but was really impressed with it considering it’s only half an hour a day (mon-fri)

You could look at FitnessBlender - loads of workouts of all different types and free. You can filter by how much time you’ve got which I find helpful.

I've also just completed the 30 day shred, using free streaming versions I've found online.
Taken about 50 days as mixed in some running and swimming as well as 1-2 rest days a week.
Frustratingly I've only lost a couple of pounds but I am definitely more toned and fitting in my smaller clothes no problem. When I've measured I've lost an inch around my waist and 3/4 of an inch around hips so not huge losses, but my thighs wobble a lot less, saddle bags are smoother, cellulite much improved, definition in calves so I think I'll keep going and try to stay motivated Grin

I am a big fan of Zuzka Light and have been doing her workouts for years, when she was still Bodyrock.
zuzkalight.com
She has now moved to subscription but on her youtube channel www.youtube.com/channel/UCrd4Hfglr4EczsLXKdGvCLA she still has workouts for free.

short video, super intense.

For yoga, I love love Tara Stiles www.youtube.com/channel/UCa5OCJkZgtbIkaB1sA86XVA
