Replacement Fitbit strap due to skin irritation

Hi all. I love my Fitbit charge 3 and it's really keeping me motivated with my steps and exercise. However after three weeks of use I think I've got contact/ allergic dermatitis from the strap. It's silicone and aluminium buckle.

I've made sure my arm is dry, the strap is dry, I've swapped arms etc but it's still aggravating my skin.

Can anyone (who's had the same problem)recommend a replacement strap that I can use that I can also wear during exercise and swimming.

Cheers.

Coz it's your skin you'll probably be the only one who can try other straps out to find out what works (sorry).

My Fitbit has silicone strap with silicone buckle - I have dreadful contact dermatitis- eczema & have no problems so far- I wear it VERY loose - just bought 3 extra straps cheap on ebay & they are fab - maybe give that a try??

It's a Charge 3 as well

I’ve had exactly the same problem. I stopped wearing it for nearly a year and still have a patch of eczema where the strap was.
Will try the eBay replacement suggestion

both ebay and Amazon have alternative straps.
Silicon ones, leather ones, breathable sport ones etc so you should be able to find one that suits you.

I've bought a pack of 10 silicon and change colour daily - I match what I'm wearing but it also means that the strap is always fresh

I used to get this when I wore it whilst sleeping but it's fine if I take it off when I go to bed.

Following as my kids have very sore arms from their FitBit Ace straps.

Thanks everyone for this. I've ordered one with the breathable holes in and will try that. Funnily enough I swapped to the bigger strap in the box and it seems much better. It's odd though as I don't hVe particularly big wrist but maybe it was just too tight.
