Come and track your exercise goals. All welcome - old timers and newbies alike.

No particular rules, no previous fitness required. Just set yourself a goal, and go for it!

New thread! Yay. Focussing on running now. Great Birmingham Half next aim. 25 miles last week, 15 this. Need to try and do more non running exercise too.

Doing some 16:8 fasting - seems to limit the "my toddler is a twat must have chocolate" window so might be working... can run 5k before breakfast - got a PB at Parkrun last week - close to my holy grail of 30 mins at 30.20 as there was a 30 minute pacer who I kept up with for 4k.

Currently attacking wine as toddler demanding grandparents and being hard work all day.

Random that's brilliant progress.

Running stalled here as my Achilles is still none too happy.

Just checking in so I can find you all tomorrow. I'm currently at 155/95

Hello Random - well done on the PB.

Welcome tomahortforthalia - it's great to have you on board.

A proper session this evening: NMTZ

(126h 05min; 163/87)

I really need to keep on it this week - I'm heading off on holiday on Friday, and not back until September. I think I'm going to be just about on target in terms of number of days, but behind on number of hours. Unless I find the motivation to exercise whilst I'm on holiday.

Now that my comp is out the way (until November) it's back to strength training at my new found class once or twice a week. Deadlifts bench press and rows today plus some vanity assistance lifts. Really enjoyed it.

I'm having the night off. I'm in pain from 3 days heavy training and knackered from doing 40 hours at work last 4 days, with a full days work and training commitments tomorrow.

Oub have a fabulous holiday.

Can i join in dd is back to school on Tuesday. I completed C25K before the holidays so my plan is to start b210k once she is back. I might try and get a new copy of 30 day shred and mix it up with that too. I still have 1.5 stone to lose until I get to my ideal weight but the losses are slowing now so I know I need to up my game.

Hi Boatsnack - welcome to the thread.

I walked across the bay to Mont St Michel today (through quicksand and everything). Can I count that? (It was 7km and I've done over 20,000 steps today.

Hello all! Can you guys give me a kick up the arse please? Was doing really well (posting on here helped so much) then dwindled to exercising once a week as I just couldn't be bothered. Then over the school summer holidays I have done nothing.

Had realised I had got a bit less toned but today realised jeans feel uncomfortably tight and can definitely see the lack of exercise on my tummy. Have two more weeks before the kids go back so won't get much done but need to do something before I lose even more fitness. I can't be bothered though and am currently siting drinking a gin and tonic Hmm. I need some tough love!

Stressy get your arse shifted Grin

Good to see you back.

I'm a bit off colour. Been skiving as a result. Did a very hot Kettlebell class tonight though, sweated from places I didn't n or I could.

Thanks RJ Smile. Must get out for a run this weekend. For now have put the jeans away and got my looser trousers out. Is scary how easy it is to get out of the habit of doing anything.

I'd love to jump on board please. I have lost 3 stone over the last year and have 1.5 stone to lose still. I have been running for the last 18 months or so but my motivation is waning so I need to get it back so hopefully this thread will help. I need to commit to getting to parkrun more often too.

Was also doing yoga once a week regularly but this has fallen by the wayside due to other commitments but I've found a class on another night so planning on resuming that too.

I'm on holiday next week but taking my running gear for some sunshine running.

Can I ask what the numbers are at the e s of messages please?

Well i didn't manage to do anything yesterday although I managed to clock up 15000 steps running various errands.

I wanted to run today but need to wait for dds new wheelchair to be delivered so I tried the Jillian Michaels banish fat boost metabolism dvd instead. It's really hard, I'm totally not built for burpees or hill climbers and my lack of coordination is hilarious. Thankfully no one could see me.

Hi Rshard - the numbers track our progress. We're aiming for 250 days exercise in 2017. The first number is the number of days completed, and the second number is the number of days remaining.

Going to try planking tonight once kids are in bed. Have no clue what I'm doing but hope it's an easy quick fix Grin.

Hello all, made a token effort at planking last night. Managed 2 minutes relatively easily which makes me think I am doing it wrong? Was expecting to find it very hard as done nothing all summer.

Also I have put a thread up but I am going to get my arse into gear in September. Will have a tiny bit more time. If anyone has any ideas for gaining some curves rather than losing weight specifically or at least at giving the illusion of an hourglass figure I'm happy to hear them!

Hi folks, count me in.

Girls weekend for friend 40th in 7 weeks, and half marathon in 11 weeks.

Have a dress size to lose and another 10 miles run stamina to find 😃

Current status - Parkrun currently 10 mins slower than PB, heaviest ever non-pregnant weight 😳

Boatsnack · 24/08/2017 21:28

I did the first week 10 run on my 10km app so 3x15min runs with 3x1min walks. I finished it but I only covered 6km and my pace per k was 2mins slower than before the holidays. Trying not to feel too demotivated.
