Kids "fitness tracker" any recommendations?

Posting here because I have no idea where to put it otherwise.

Super sporty DD(10) has apparently asked for one for her birthday next month. It seems to be a lot cheaper than a replacement bike (which will save me getting into a bidding war on eBay as the big day approaches), so I don't mind.

I don't think she wants a (££) smartwatch, but having the time on it would make it look more like a normal watch for school.

I think she just wants to see how far she walks/runs (don't think they'd like her wearing it for swimming, but showerproof would be good) and how she sleeps. She doesn't need reminding to do any exercise (which seems to be the aim of a lot of these devices). I guess she might like a stopwatch on it (but having seen kids slow down before the finish line on parkrun to check their watch...maybe not).

The Garmin Vivofit junior seemed like a good option, but it is designed for 4-9 years (so I am worried it would be babyish). It is based on a viviofit 3 (under £50 on Amazon...about the right price), but I am worried adult trackers might be too big?

Any ideas?

Hi- I know this thread is a few months old now, but you've asked exactly what I'm asking. What did you get in the end and would you recommend it?
