Fitness band recommendations

My UP2 wristband has broken so I would like to replace it. However I think that the design isn't really up to scratch and don't see the point of getting the same again. Please recommend a fitness band to replace it with. It has to be easy to use, preferably have sleep monitoring too. Thanks.

Currently looking at the Fitbit Alta HR - only thing stopping me is that on the reviews I've read it doesn't pick up weights/strength training. I tried the Charge 2 but found it quite big.
