Any miracle cures or exercise suggestions other than running? I'm meant to be doing a triathlon in May and just got a place for RideLondon but cycling is really painful (gripping / twisting is what seems to aggravate it most) and even swimming with a float hurts . Feeling really low and put on nearly half a stone in the 4 weeks I've had it so can't carry on like this
No advice but much sympathy I had it 2 years ago from actually playing too much tennis. Time, painkillers, physio and a splint cured it in about 8 weeks. I'm not sure there is a magic cure but a physio mate was adamant that I shouldn't play through it.
I've had it a few times. Acupuncture was the only thing that worked - I had physio, anti inflammatories, steroid injections, ultrasound etc the first time, and nothing helped but acupuncture works and now I go as soon as it starts flaring up.
