Anyone got this DVD? I've lost over 3 stone since having lo but still want to lose one more so was thinking of trying this. It's a long shot but just wondering if anyone else wanted to try it with me and we can keep the pressure on to complete it!?

I'll do it with you. I need a kick up the bum to get exercising again.

Shall we start tonight?

Ah I've been thinking I need to give this another go! I tried at the end of last year after finding it on YouTube but gave up after 5 days or so, I struggled doing the same workout every day...
Think I might go for a run tonight and possibly do the shred tomorrow, I may be back to join you Smile

I've also it it and need a kick to start doing it properly!

Great! I didn't know if anyone would respond! I think I should be good to start tonight - that was my aim anyway! I don't suppose it matters if a couple of us are a day or two out as it's the keeping going through the whole 30 days that's the tough part!

I've actually had this DVD for ages and forgot all about and then over the last week my lo had repeatedly picked it up and dropped it on my lap! I've taken than as a sign / kick up the arse that I actually need to do it! GrinGrinGrin

One more thing... I was going to take a 'before' photo and some measurements of key areas. From reviews I've read online, loads of people have recommended it so you can see the benefits once the 30 days are up. Just sharing (unlike the photo which will be under lock and key on my phone! Haha!).

Count me in! I got to L2D6 last time and it was working well. I might start today or tomorrow 😃

My house will be empty tomorrow half 5 until 8ish so I'll definitely try again then.. I'm not a fan of having an audience when I'm prancing about Blush not even DP who's always full of encouragement (and sarky comments haha!)
Good luck to you all getting started tonight!

@standingonlego did you notice a difference in appearance after getting so far through it? I think that's what put me off last time - 5 days of exercise and I still wasn't Gisele Grin

I did it! Bloody hell it was tough. Think I am definitely going to need extra support to keep it up! Anyone know else have a bash?

So I ached really bad today BUT I have done day two. I was dreading it but it wasn't that bad when I got started. Only issue I am having is that a bit of wee comes out when I do the jumping jacks! Sorry if that's tmi but I was a bit shocked (and sad lol!). Must remember to do my kegals too! Urgh so much to do!

Anyone else still in?

Can I join? I did 26 days straight before xmas befor being struck down with the flu on 22nd so didn't reach my goal. I didn't lose any weight, but lost a heap of inches.

I've had "shred" in my bulletproof journal (another MN "thing" Grin) scheduled for 5 days in each week post xmas but I'm just not getting off my arse! I need group support!!

Jsy123 · 31/01/2017 22:48

BrassicaBabe of course you can join! Let's try and spur each other on!

It's really encouraging to hear you lost inches when you last did it - I'd be pleased with that but would also like to lose a bit too so am going to eat extra healthy and try not to drink (as much!).

I've got a feeling I am going to be sore tomorrow after day 2 today. From your experience, when does the pain subside (please say it subsides!!!!!?)

It does subside - push through. Make sure you're stretching a lot more at the end than she goes through with you

I follow it up with the 30 days of yoga classes (on youtube) straight after. Really helps.

Shred is on for today then!

When it was going so well at the back of last year I bought Ripped in 30 and 6 week 6 pack. I'm going to see how much muscle memory I have with Shred. Will see if I can move back through the levels at about 3 days each...

CantstandmLMs · 01/02/2017 11:52

Shred is really old. Jillian reccomends her newer stuff (ripped in 30) but then she would. Body revolution is a major one but I bet it's costly.

I just have her new app currently and it does customised workouts daily.
I have done shred previously and it was a struggle!

Lozzapops · 01/02/2017 19:14

I started the Shred today! I did it previously last year, around April time, managed to complete it and really felt it made a big difference to how my body looked. I combined it with cutting out sweets, cakes, chocolate, biscuits, etc for the month, and lost about 10lb. I definitely looked better than before!

Unfortunately I have put the 10lb back on - a family trauma and some other stuff really got in the way of my great intentions to keep up with exercise. Now I really need to kick start things again, and am feeling determined!! Will use this thread to spur me on. Good luck all!

BOOM! I just did day 3!!! I was in soooo much pain today but managed to do it and once I got going it was ok. Because it's so short it's relatively easy to be motivated to do it. Hope I start feeling less sore soon though!

How's everyone else getting on?

Ooh yes I might try this again. I started in in December last year but then, well, Christmas Grin
I'll start on Friday...

Right! It's going to be tough to find the motivation to do day 4 today but I'm pledging on here that I'll do it do hopefully that will spur me on!

I did it! Sooooo didn't want to but because the workout is so short I don't really have an excuse. Right! Shower then bed!

Anyone else managed to give it a bash? How are you getting on?

Are you all doing 30 days straight or are you adding in rest days? I've done the workout (although I've only done the 2nd phase a couple of times - wowser!) but I've been alternating it with other stuff and having days off too. Should I just try and power through?

Hello! Can I join in please? I'm on day 8 and have been aching since day 1!!

I bought this DVD about 4 years ago but this is the first time I have ever done it. I lost 2.5 stone with Weight Watchers after my DS and was at my happy weight of 10 stone but then went back to work (sedentary job/biscuit tin), stopped breastfeeding and gained a stone over the past 8 months Shock

Toastbeagle - yes of course! Please join! I've had the DVD a couple of years too and never opened it! I have lost 3.5 stone since having lo but still need to lose another stone to get back into all my clothes. Was a size 10-12 now I'm a 12-14 so just one clothes group away!

I always lose weight in short hard bursts and then maintain for months and then do another burst. Last bust was in Nov/Dec where I lost 7lbs and hoping doing this and eating clean will give me another burst and I'll be close to my goal.

Good luck! I have found just posting on here has been motivation to keep going so hope it is for you too!

Hobbes8 - I'm going to try and do 30 days straight. I can anticipate one day where is won't happen (day after my new job drinks!) but aside from that hoping to do it every day. To do walk to and from work but other than that don't get any other exercise.

I was soooo sore the first few days but today is day 5 and I feel much better so hoping the soreness is subsiding!

Good luck!

Day 8 complete! I muted Jillian today and played 5 songs instead. 2 mins of cardio goes much quicker to Uptown Funk!!
