Anyone who's completed C25K, what weeks did you repeat?

Or did you repeat any at all? Just curious really as I'm on week 4 but repeating week 3. My last run on week 3 I was no longer convinced that i'd been running at least 10 minutes, but I didn't few ready for week 4 with the dreaded 5 minute runs!

I've completed C25K before but can't remember if I repeated any weeks. I got to the week with the 20 minute run and then went on my own and just increased my time as much as I could.

And also, a non-stealth boast, this is the first time in 4 years I've stuck to it and not given in after the second week! Go me! Grin

Hi, not quite what you're looking for but I've just completed week 3 and I'm scared to start w4d1 so I'm contemplating doing w3r3 a few more times. But scared as I am the advice I've been given is to at least try it. I'm not sure what I'll do. So sorry op no advice except to say I understand!

I totally know what you mean, I thought about just going for week 4 but wanted to make sure that my 3 minute runs were a bit easier so I didn't give up! I added an extra minute on my last 3 minute run and plan to do the same the next 2 runs so that hopefully week 4 won't be so difficult!

It's amazing how my fitness have built up after just a few weeks though, week 1 I was so pleased after finishing just the minute run! And the days I'm running I seem to be happier and feel like I've achieved something Smile

Hmm yes you make a good point. The risk of giving up felt quite strong today. Up to this I was feeling a bit smug I was finding it so easy Blush. Adding a minute sounds like a good plan. All the advice is to take it as slow as you need to. I'm just impatient to reach that 5k!
Agree on the fitness and mood thing totally. The other day I ran up a hill where a few weeks ago I wasn't fit to walk it!

First time I didn't repeat any.

Second time after DC1 I think I repeated week 4 (to avoid the 20 min run) and week 6.

Third time after DC2 I skipped week 1 and only did weeks 2, 3 and 4 and then went straight to 5km.

Keep at it, even if you repeat every week multiple times you'll get there!

I did repeat some runs if I'd had a bad run that felt really tough. I can't remember which they were as it was a couple of years ago. I was having a slow recovery from SPD and a rough birth so was cautious to avoid injury.

Just wanted to update because I'm still plugging on Smile

Started week 5 on Sunday and moved onto the second run of week 5 today: 8 minutes jog, 5 minutes walk and then 8 minutes jog. I did 8 min jog, 5 min walk and then 10 min jog! Grin

A small time for most runners but I'm so proud of myself Grin
