Bleeding after running mid cycle

Hello all, I am wondering how common this is. I cramp and bleed after runs around ovulation. Does anyone else experience this? If so did it affect your fertility?

I do some months. Happens more now I'm older (37). I figure I'm less fertile that month as it tends to coincide with fewer other signals of fertility but who knows. I haven't put it to the test (except I last fell pregnant on a month I didn't bleed through)
