My bottom teeth ache when I run

I took up running in June and have had about 4 weeks off. I just went for a swift trot around the block this evening, and bloody hell it was cold! A couple of minutes in and my front bottom teeth were very achey.

I'm guessing it is because of the cold? I can't breathe through my nose when I run, so I ran along with my tongue wedged over my bottom teeth and tucked behind my lip to keep the teeth warm. Not the most attractive look!

What kit do I need to sort this problem out? One of those buff things?

Perhaps a moth cover thing for when it's very cold. If it stops when you're not running then it's prob just sensitivity.

Takes your mind off the sore lungs/legs maybe??

Me too. No idea why or how to stop it. Generally speaking I have good strong teeth, not sensitive at all.

If I wear a buff round my mouth will it get all soggy when I breathe through it?
