my face has never been clear - always got the one bugger planted on my chin!

but recently started to do my pilates and walking again. now my face has exploded in uncontrollable, sore, red spots! sad it happens every time, when I USED to go gym (over3yrs ago) I would have a streaming nose, (cold like symptoms) and face of spots mainly on my chin.

does any one else get this reaction? also if anyone knows how to help/ reduce it as it getting me down.

I never used to get spots until I started exercising. I get dandruff too now if I don't put tea tree oil in my shampoo. Lovely, isn't it hmm

The only thing I can suggest is wash your face as soon as you get in from exercising and don't put anything on there that might make it flare up. My skin gets worse if I attempt to wear makeup or put any kind of moisturiser other than coconut oil on it.

Waiting to hear if anyone else has any magic cures for exercise-related nightmare skin.

I do pilates at home and have just got a treadmill, I really need to wear my make up. im body/appearance conscious and wont leave the house without any on.

as I have school run im done up for 9am so I would have to wash it all back off again (not the cheapest make up to apply 2-3 times haha! shock )

I use coconut oil too smile but doesn't seem to have any effect.
i'll sit back with ya and await the magic grin

oh just to add its not caked on make up - just a dusting of mineral foundation.

I've noticed that my DS gets spots when he exercises. They're under control at other times.

I wonder what the reason is.

My DH started washing his face before exercising as well as after and that did the trick.
