I am due to complete the 30DS in a few days.
Which Jillian DVD should I go for next? I love the shred format but I'm willing to go for whatever you wise folk advise.
Not looking to lose weight -apart from a persistent 5lb- just tone up.
Thanks in advance.

Have you got a wii? I got the biggest loser wii game. It was fab. I used it to kick start weight loss but it has loads of different bits. Belly buster, boot camp etc. Got it on amazon for just over £20.

I do have a Wii but I can't rely on its ability to work anymore I'm afraid Sad
I wish it did work all the time I used to love Wii fit.

As a fellow Jillian lover I can highly recommend a combination of No More Trouble Zones and Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. NMTZ targets different areas of the body and BFBM is cardio. Both of them can be done all the way through (about 45 mins) or just pick a circuit (or 2, or 3) if you want to spend less time. If you are hooked on the Shred format then Ripped in 30 is similar in length & uses the 3-2-1 circuits. I have got Extreme Shed & Shred but find it a bit mental (and it's longer). If you wanted to focus on your stomach then try 6 week 6 pack - it does what it says on the tin. I am "doing" the Insanity workouts at the moment & I miss Jillian! I am going to go back to her in the summer (if I'm not dead from all the Insanity workouts)

Office you are brave to tackle insanity! I'm going no where near that.
Would 6w6p be beneficial as a whole body work out? Obviously it's ab focussed but do other body parts get jiggled?

I didn't like wii fit but the biggest loser really surprised me. It's not for me long term but was good to start off. You set your own level/times a week. I was too scared to miss it incase she shouted at me.

I will go back to it when I have lost most of the weight and need to target certain areas.

6w6p does have a fair amount of cardio because as Jillian says, you have to burn off the fat in order to see the muscle. So you do get a good all-over workout, but all the toning is very abs focused. It really does work, I did it 5 x per week for 6 weeks and got lovely stomach muscles. I won't lie though, it is torture to begin with, I spent many days in agony feeling like I had been kicked in the stomach! Worth it for the final results though!!

It sounds great as my tummy is my only problem area, if it wasn't for this gut I would be a size 8 I swear!
I'll have a look on amazon and see if the price is nice.

Ripped in 30 is really good. It's similar to shred but has 4 sections instead. It's a good progression from the shred!

I love Jillian's workouts - the fact you can do something that works in just 20 mins is amazing! So often with workout dvds i just can't be bothered doing them but you can always convince yourself to do 20mins. She's amazing!
