Can I join too while its still June, please? I'm shredding with MFP and c25k.

I've done 2 weeks of level 1 every other day. Was so proud of myself yesterday for doing all but 1 press up and all the abs moves grin

Does anyone else get vaguely irritated by Natalie blatantly "phoning it in" in the background?!!!

Will you be moving into July with this?

I started Shredding back in May for 5 consecutive days then we had a run of illness and half term etc blush I haven't re-started it. I'm so grateful my knees recovered as I really thought I'd done permanent damage grin

Will send DH out with DCs so I can start again. The pain does decrease if you continue after a couple of weeks ? -please reassure me because I can still remember the pain of stairs after the first go-

The pain does indeed decrease. I was also unable to go up and down stairs. blush

I will continue into July though may be moving over to her other DVDs. But motivation is always good.

Those of you who can't do press ups, have you had your press ups checked out by somebody who can see where you're going wrong? I used to be quite fit before having dc. I went on a bit of a health kick in prep for conceiving and it took 14 months to get pregnant so by the end of it, I was running 10k once a week and working out on the other days, plus cycling 15 miles a day to get to work. I was demented. Couldn't do a press up though. Not a single, solitary one. Until my dh who was a fitness instructor and personal trainer was permitted into the room in which I worked out. He pointed out where I was going wrong, corrected my errors, explained what I should be doing, what to flex when and I did my first press up. Then another. Then another. And because of muscle memory, once you've mastered it, you've mastered it. I can do them to failure now and can do over 100 (I choose not to though as I prefer Sitting and Reading My Book). They're a skill which you can master but I couldn't see where I was going wrong until somebody watched my pitiful efforts.
