Quite coincidentally I too have been in negotiations today regarding the pubs licence and it's good news here as well, a deal has been agreed!!

There were no amendments or legal objections put forward so a shiny new licence has been issued and normal service can be resumed

Same rules apply.

Now let's hope Saturday's proceedings can go ahead without the usual dicking around and that what has been nigh on impossible during the last 3 years, a majority, can be achieved otherwise I feel we are off to hell in a handcart!

What are the options left ?

1. WA is passed, then what ? We wander off victorious into transition territory, where not a lot changes whilst we have a bash at negotiating trade.
2. WA isn't passed, what then ? can the UK request another extension ?
3. No deal , not entirely certain how this might occur, but I haven't removed it from the options, because goodness only knows whats going to happen
4. Revoke, still slim to nothing odds on this outcome, depends on if 2 happens, but an extension is refused and how much people genuinely want to avoid 3.

Have I missed any ?

Frumpety I’d take any option at the moment that meant MPs moved us forward in some capacity rather than what a lot of them have been doing which is spending 3 years looking at the 10 different ways to try and get us back to pre June 2016.

But if all of the Tories and the DUP had voted for the previous deal it would've passed bloody months ago. It's the leavers who've failed to leave, not anyone else.

The problem has been that there are so many versions of leave that the leavers couldn't even agree amongst themselves HOW they wanted to leave. And that was always the problem with this vote: 17.4m versions of Brexit!

If the deal doesn't pass surely we're into no deal territory? All those MP's who said they just want to avoid no deal - I wonder if they'll vote for it. Or are they still hoping for remain?

"The Tories want a race to the bottom"

I want to hear real analysis, questions, answers & considerations, & if MPs don't have anything more than a vacuous soundbite to contribute they need to stay sat down! (Applies to all MPs on both sides of the house)

Seriously? I think most of ERG & Tory rebels will vote it through & rest of Tories will.
A handful of labour votes, one Lib Dem & a few independents.

SNP, Lib Dem, DUP & most of Labour will vote against

It will be abstentions that make the difference imo

Gonna have to disagree Dusty. I think it's time for choosing in Labour so abstention is the lose/lose option for a Labour MP in a Leave seat.

Frank Field on the radio:

“The time for kicking the van down the street has ended. Labour MPs have to make a decision. They can’t keep saying if only this little bit were changed, then I would respect my constituents wishes.”

Just for good measure he added: Labour’s objections over workers rights are “absolute crap.” Labour are just scrambling for excuses to oppose Brexit. The whole point of leaving the EU is that we take back control over domestic regulations.

I am a massive Frank Field fan so may be mistaken in how persuasive he is.
