Is any tiny bit of him slightly worried it’s all going to shit, do we think!?

Or is he confident he’ll blag it all?

I think he is addicted to risk. Almost losing it all-career, marriage, whatever-then scraping through. So the current situation will be giving him a massive high. The comedown will happen, win or lose, and it will be horrible.

I don't think he has the kind of all-consuming feelings we would expect for the situation he is in. He is so utterly cushioned by privilege, arrogance and complacency - and has been since the day he was born - none of this is real for him in the way it is for the rest of us. He probably breaks more of a sweat playing Monopoly.

Convinced whoever is typing furiously will have a marvellous rousing speech ready for him to strut out with and/or shitting through the eye of a needle.

He's gone for a quick spaff against the No. 10 filing cabinets, probably the best he'll ever feel as PM. And he'll blame Larry.

@HighNetGirth I think you’re absolutely right. The problem is that he doesn’t finish or do the work that mitigates the risk. This also refers to the times he’s screwed up on the zip liner and other shenanigans. He sees and wants a risk but never does enough to see it all the way through to a good conclusion. This was his whole Brexit campaign BS as well. Decided to risk it —> didn’t think it through to a possible conclusion.

Johnson might also find that what plays well with Londoners doesn't work in the rest of the country.

He reminds me of Lotho Baggins at the end of Lord Of The Rings.
