Apologies if this has already been covered I've looked but don't think there's a specific list. DD1 flying the nest in September to start uni (only an hour away but who knows if we'll have fuel for the "Mum could you bring me...."). Anyway I started early with the bedding, towels, kitchen equipment and I'm turning my attention to consumables. So far have:
Soap
Deodorant
Shampoo & conditioner
Toothbrush & shampoo
Sanpro
Face cleanser
Multivitamins
Plasters
Antiseptic cream
Paracetamol
Ibuprofen
Throat lozenges
Antihistamines
Tissues
Toilet roll
(Enough of all this until at least Xmas)
Various herbs & spices (I've been showing her how to tweak basic recipes with them for variety)
Ketchup
Mayo
Worcester sauce
Tomato puree
Pesto
Soy sauce
Stock cubes
Tea bags
Plan to get
Tinned tomatoes
Baked beans
Kidney beans
Chickpeas
Tinned tuna
Tinned sweetcorn
Pasta
Rice
Noodles
Idaho mash
Tinned fruit
Oatcakes/ryvita type something to replace bread
She won't have a lot of room but I think space in her bedroom for a decent sized plastic lidded crate so I plan to fill it and ask her to still do shopping until end Oct and then use it to supplement what she can get then.
Also still to get
Torch
Batteries (not allowed candles)
Stationery (she's on that though)
USB sticks so she can keep saving work
So you wonderful preppers - what am I missing?
