I've just lifted this off DM comments.

Anyone with a detailed, workable alternative Brexit plan are welcome to publish it for all to see. Otherwise it's TM's effort, or Remain. Nige promised a plan, then never did. Boris' plan is to shout slogans at the gullible, and DD's plan is to sit at the negotiating table giggling and playing with his glasses thinking that'll terrify Barnier into submission. Brexiters are being played by a bunch of carpetbaggers who'll clear off to Belize when it all goes wrong.

I for one agree completely.
I also agree that water is water and that grass is grass.
Sadly it doesn't help in the slightest in working out what the hell happens on the morning of 30 March, but at least we agree.

Our local social media is filled with BREXIT MEANS BREXIT, OUT MEANS OUT and WE WANT NO DEAL!!!!! type posts. Not a single post explaining what that actually means or how it will work.

More silly undefined nonsense still rocking on, I see.
My dd comes out with petulant bollocks too.
I voted Remain. If we have to Leave, we leave like grown ups via WA. With all its many faults.

The widespread popular support for the insanity of No Deal, that is not WTA and half a hundred bilateral agreements to keep the planes flying and the drugs coming in, but actually telling the EU to get stuffed then wait for them to come crawling back begging for access to our markets, is a good reason why we have representative and not direct democracy.

The only comparable situation I can recall was the widely offered taxi-driver view that the solution to the Irish Problem was to shoot Gerry Adams and the rest of Sinn Fein, along with all of the IRA because "We know who they are," and all nationalists would forget the whole thing.

Brexit means fuck all. It means nothing until it actually happens and then we’ll know what it means. As it stands it has no definition.

ILoveMaxiBondi, yes, or to put it the other way round, it can mean many things to many people: a Switzerland deal to some, Norway to others, WTO to others...

Which has always been the problem. A very simplistic question asked about a massively complex issue.

I'm beginning to wish dark things on the immortal soul of David Cameron. Dark, unutterable things.

What a fucking idiot to think that a vague vote was a good idea.

While Cameron was indeed stupid to do that, it was compounded by Mrs May triggering A50.
A 'smart bunny' would have run through the options realistically, and had a plan for the NI border up their sleeve and presented it to the nation.
Instead we had weeks of talking bollocks and lies and worse the leave campaign were permitted to tell lies unchallenged. Staying in the EU isn't as sexy as a phallic red bus with a nob declaring money for all.
