Phew! And to think this came about through serendipity, because Cameron offered a referendum, and did not change his mind because his advisers told him there was no hope in hell of a Leave vote. Well, yes it was tight but if democracy is to prevail then that's the result that has to be actioned. But the best and most clear explanations came from Farage. During that 3-way televised Q&A, Clegg fudged his answers, but Farage stepped in and told us No, we as a nation cannot do XX or BB because EU rules trump ours - that's the bottom line.

No great shocks so far then - everything going exactly as expected.

TM set out her proposed strategy, EU set out theirs, David Davis sets out sensible & pragmatic plan for transferring all laws.

All progressing quite boringly well - entirely as expected so far.

The great repeal bill is a good start to returning some of the powers to our elected representatives. I think they are going to do it wholesale and then weed out the anomalies that don't suit us in time.

We will have to cough up for the divorce pretty quick (hopefully around £30 billion) though sensible to stagger it over 2 years, just to get on with the trade agreements.

I think we will end up paying around £10 billion per year into the eu for a good trade agreement.

This made my day so I am feeling the need to share with a bunch of like minded Brexiters. Turns out 62% of Scottish people don't want a differentiated EU deal and are much happier with the way TM is handling things than they are with NS's position.

No squishy. We keep all the worker protections and environmental goals. We won't fine ourselves ridiculous sums for failing on air quality, as in London recently, (and Paris and Munich) as fines actually don't improve air quality. We should hold the government to account though and spend the 'fine' money on actually improving systems.

I do scratch my head about the Scottish issue as surely you would wait for a deal to be signed to know whether or not you liked it before calling for a referendum? It may be a good deal and one which suits Scotland too, so why vote out and then have to apply to enter the EU when the conditions could not be met? . Interesting reading but not one NS will take any notice of

As it's such a cause for celebration, interesting that you are not keen to discuss, debate and answer any questions the doubters may have.

Like I said Olympia - what you propose sounds OK to me, that's what I'm hoping for too. It sounds much more achievable and realistic than some of the visions of Brexit I've heard. But, I do think it important to scrutinise the government over the next few years - like you say, hold them to account. Because there are some within the Tory party (not all) who do see this as an opportunity to slash workers rights and environmental protections, not just simplify and improve them. I don't see all the predictions in "project fear" as inevitabilities, but I do see them as risks (some more realistic than others!). So we need to watch the government closely as they enact the great repeal bill.

Olympia - NS really wants a referendum before Brexit is completed because she can have EU citizens voting as she did before - and we can all guess how she thinks they will vote! - but of course once we are out of the EU she can't do that!!!
