RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 22:52:52

I thought it didnt matter

FranticalFidget Fri 04-Nov-16 22:54:02

If I'm a remainder who would be a leaver if it came to a next time how many gins would it take to put me under the table?

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 22:54:35

FranticalFidget Fri 04-Nov-16 22:54:40

Well obviously I'm not a remainder I don't even like maths...

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 22:56:23

My autocorrect keeps changing remainer to remainder as well

surferjet Fri 04-Nov-16 22:57:09

It doesn't matter. You're right smile

time4chocolate Fri 04-Nov-16 23:00:57

Rufus - blimey you were quick off the mark. I wanted to be first but I had to answer a call of nature!!

YonicProbe Fri 04-Nov-16 23:01:09

Good title!

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 23:02:14

I used to be a governor at a school

i once said "i am not sure why i am here"

And my associate said

"For light relief "

I decided to take it as a complement

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 23:03:01

surferjet Fri 04-Nov-16 23:03:04

YonicProbe Fri 04-Nov-16 23:04:41

<in awe of Rufus>

<and slightly concerned about Elf and Safety>

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 23:06:02

My theory is that...

its better than having an accident on the sofa

time4chocolate Fri 04-Nov-16 23:06:50

Rufus - Wow I'm impressed, I might give that a go at the weekend (obviously I will borrow DPs phone until I have mastered it) blush smile

surferjet Fri 04-Nov-16 23:07:24

Health & safety?
No silly EU rules in here..

RufusTheSpartacusReindeer Fri 04-Nov-16 23:08:39

Good idea

Try not to get confused with which hand is holding the phone and which is holding the toilet paper

Ipads are not absorbent

Also a true fact

And a top tip

AlpacaLypse Fri 04-Nov-16 23:20:58

Woo hoooooo surferjet I have been off MN for about a week, went in earlier today, found the first Brexit Arms thread and read it, thought 'Oh dear the dedicated humourless ones are going to derail this, whether they're Brexit or Bremain',

And you've had the guts to come back!

Just to clarify for anyone who isn't up to speed, I'm one of the Lexitteers. On many many levels I'm actually conservative with a small C. And on several others I'm labour, with a small L. But on democracy I go rather angry. God knows our First Past the Post constituency system here in the UK is shit. But the EU parliament is actually worse. I decided to vote out the moment I discovered that EU MEPs can't propose legislation, the best they can do is offer an opinion on legislation proposed by the Great And The Good.
