Due to trade tariffs etc?
As they are Euro-owned stores, and sell mainly euro-manufactured goods?

Oh no, hang on.

I've checked and apparently I don't care.

I don't know but my nine year old had been learning about the referendum at school and when the results were announced she cried as she said the price of brioche was going to rocket.

I just had this conversation with DH - We concluded that they may withdraw from the uk market completely - along with IKEA!

It's inevitable that overheads will increase for EU companies with trading arms here in the UK - will it be worth them remaining here?

Please no! I simply could not live without my red top face cream, it's kept my skin in great nick for years and I'm often mistaken for much younger than I am ( younger but not beautiful sadly! ) .

I better stock up just in case.

Prices of everything are going to climb as the pound falls. Only it will be slow, so many people won't realise that it's happening, or why.

As for tariffs on goods from Europe and beyond, well that will depend on what trade agreements we can secure, which in turn will depend on our willingness to accept free movement of people, abiding by rules and regulations we have no say over and in how much we're prepared to pay into the EU (without getting any subsidies anymore).

Hth.

Thank you.

The 3 Lidl stores I visit are packed , with long queues of people who are not yummy mummies. I wondered whether Lidl will fare any differently to other supermarkets because of European ownership.

Aldi and ikea are in Australia so I don't think being in the EU is a condition.
