You could not make this up!

BOZO must be on some heavy duty drugs he he thinks suspending shares in our banks is the market being stable

Is this what you really voted for?

underrugsswept Mon 27-Jun-16 11:02:04

Just came on to post the same!

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 11:03:58

Still think it was project Fear anyone? The man is deranged.

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 11:09:28

The Bank of England warned us not to do this - BOZO dear boy you got us into this - now get us out or fall on your sword today

Cjamm Mon 27-Jun-16 11:13:04

It's going to be fun watching him juggle all his lies until he falls on his sword and Gove, Mr lets ignore all the experts is suspiciously quiet. They managed to push out Cameron & Osbourne but it's going to cost them their political careers & they know it.

sesseme Mon 27-Jun-16 11:23:43

It's good we are leaving smile

angemorange Mon 27-Jun-16 11:25:17

He should do a comedy fall, toss his hair and do a few 'jollys' and 'harrumphs', then the nation will love him again.

Or else see him more clearly as a vindictive, self serving, arrogant, over privileged, windbag who massively under estimated Cameron probably due to his blinding jealousy.

The old saying goes we get the leaders we deserve. Geez........

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 12:10:59

sesseme Do you live within the economic structure of the UK or survive using a purely bartering system?

Cjamm Mon 27-Jun-16 12:15:02

Angemorange, no nation could have possibly done anything to deserve what's coming our way

Mistigri Mon 27-Jun-16 12:17:53

The pound is completely stable if your reference point is 1985 grin

It would be funny, if this weren't people's jobs, savings and life chances going up in smoke - and all because two old Etonian pals both wanted to be PM.

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 12:21:20

ange Do you think he has another act in him? I rather favour a volunteer clown for the stocks. I have a load of old tomatoes.

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 12:28:07

cjamm I have always been very concerned about what will happen. Now I am actually bricking it.

I think I need what ever BOZO is on

megletthesecond Mon 27-Jun-16 12:33:40

showme I've hit the bricking it stage too.

What worries me is that more people will see Bojos jolly sound bites and believe him but ignore the financial chaos that is breaking out.

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 12:40:30

meg I'm afraid that they won't be able to very soon. At this rate the impacts will become clear quite soon I think (and I really am hoping they won't)

And I don't think BOZO sounds that jolly - he's a man clown on the edge

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Mon 27-Jun-16 12:43:19

Ah, don't worry guys, if we have a recession lovely Boris is going to apologise to us on the telly hmm

Showmethewaytogohome Mon 27-Jun-16 12:46:11

Will he juggle too? It's not if now -we are going into recession and as it takes I think 3 months? to confirm technically we will have all the facts and figures ready for the leadership election

Oh and the unemployment figures too. Just think of of those people's lives you have destroyed BOZO. Hope it keeps you up at night

Cjamm Mon 27-Jun-16 12:47:12

We're not the only ones bricking it, never though Kelvin Mackenzie from the Sun would ever admit to regretting his decision :

I don't want a bloody apology angry he needs to fix this or share whatever he's drinking so we can all live on cloud crazy

PattyPenguin Mon 27-Jun-16 12:54:22

Kelvin Mackenzie invites people's thoughts, giving the email address

I would suggest he gets them. Trying to keep it clean.

WhatWouldLeslieKnopeDo Mon 27-Jun-16 12:55:03

Sorry cjamm I was being sarcastic, but I don't think it came across blushblush

He's such an arrogant cunt. I don't know why he thought that a public apology would in any way make up for a recession!

Though he said it before the result, so presumably it's another one of their little "mistakes" anyway.

Does he just not understand economic terms? Maybe he really thinks that it was all good news confused

Figmentofmyimagination Mon 27-Jun-16 12:59:14

"Now I am actually bricking it"

I haven't been able to sleep since it kicked off, and I keep crying. I think it is going to get a lot worse.

annandale Mon 27-Jun-16 13:03:39

I wouldn't write to kelvin McKenzie in any set of circumstances I can imagine. The man is a puddle of moral quicksand who says only things that he thinks will benefit one person - himself. Worse than that, he has spent his life bullying employees to promote that view of life to his unfortunate audience. The idea of genuine 'regret' is foreign to him, he just thinks he will get more clicks with this view.

Cjamm Mon 27-Jun-16 13:13:27

WhatWould, oh know I picked up the sarcasm, I knew you weren't being serious, my fault for not making that clear.

angemorange Mon 27-Jun-16 13:27:26

Just heard that Royal Bank of Scotland has had to stop trading shares as so much of their value has been wiped off. My bank is owned by RBS - I'll feel better when BOZO is hung by his goolies from a zip wire - for real this time.

No country deserves this moron Cjamm....

blibblibs Mon 27-Jun-16 13:32:53

I bank with RBS, all my savings are there. Not alot in the grand scheme of things but alot for me. Do I need to be more worried than I have been all weekend? sad

angemorange Mon 27-Jun-16 13:43:17

I'd keep an eye on the headlines. Probably only an immediate worry if you have shares in RBS.

My mortgage is with them though - no idea if it will affect rates. Just need to see what happens.

It's all really funny though isn't it wink
